National Development Institute implements projects aimed at improving public sector efficiency, strengthening non-governmental organizations, development of youth entrepreneurship and leadership, development of democracy and civil society, tool designing and development in Lithuania and abroad, especially in – the post-Soviet space.

Since 2005 we implement activities financed by the EU Structural Funds.

In carrying out projects we cooperated with organizations from Estonia, Belarus, France, Ireland, Italy, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia, Slovakia, Spain, Australia and Denmark.

In Lithuania the Institute develops the cooperation and working relationship with public administration bodies, NGOs and business enterprises striving to promote the dissemination of good practice, skills, innovation, and thus strengthening these three sectors, increasing their operational efficiency. The institute strongly focuses on optimization of public sector functions.

For research implementation National Development Institute brings together external experts and researchers of economics, management, business development, social protection and law, some of which have participated in the project “The Duplicate of the Government” led by the Institute.
