TRAINING COURSE FOR YOUTH “PEACE BUILDING PROCESS BY EYES OF YOUTH” HAS SUCCESSFULLY FINISHED

On 22-28 of April 2009, in a village named Cociery, Moldova, an international team of youth leaders and experts held a training course (TC) for youth which was dedicated to conflict prevention and resolution, which brought together young leaders from 5 countries (Lithuania, Moldova, Armenia, Georgia, Czech Republic) in order to attend training course which also included debates and conversations about resent or permanent conflicts in the participating countries.

 

This training course touched all type of conflicts:

• Intrapersonal conflict

• Interpersonal conflict

• Group conflict

• Intercultural conflicts

• Organizational conflict

• Community conflict

• Intra-state conflict

• International conflict

During the project (using such methods as group forming, plenary sessions, discussions, workshops, creativity sessions, intercultural & interactivity games and other non-formal education methods) young leaders discussed about the significant role of youth participation in different peace building activities and explained about their role in the wide society. New ideas for common projects related to the conflict issue were also created and will ensure that the results of this TC and the partnership among the participating organizations will not end by this event.
